What is actually tested

Four domains, twenty key concepts to start

Algebra and Advanced Math each make up about 35 percent of the Math section. Problem-Solving and Data Analysis and Geometry and Trigonometry each make up about 15 percent. We teach all four, weighted the way the real test weights them.

ALGEBRA

Linear equations and systems

Linear equations, inequalities, and systems of equations, the domain that rewards a clean first step over clever tricks.

ADVANCED MATH

Quadratics and functions

Quadratic equations, polynomials, exponents, and nonlinear functions, the domain most students find hardest.

PROBLEM-SOLVING

Data, ratios and percentages

Ratios, percentages, and reading information from tables and graphs, the most real world feeling part of the test.

GEOMETRY

Circles, triangles and trigonometry

The smallest domain by weight, but a reliable source of quick points once the formulas not on the reference sheet are memorized.

How we teach Math specifically

Practice that adapts to how you actually score

DIAGNOSTIC FIRST

A real starting point, not a guess

Every student starts with a diagnostic scored by domain, not just an overall Math score. This tells us exactly which domain is actually costing you points, before a single class begins.

ADAPTIVE PRACTICE

Papers that respond to your results

Score well on a topic, and the next paper raises the difficulty there. Struggle with a topic, and we repeat the concept and the strategy at the same level until it is solid.

Where students actually lose points

The patterns we see most often

01

Rushed word problems

Misreading which quantity is the rate and which is the starting value, under time pressure, in Algebra questions.

02

Unfamiliar function forms

The same quadratic in standard, vertex, or factored form looks like three different problems without practice switching between them.

03

Calculator overuse

Reaching for the calculator on simple algebra that is faster solved by hand, losing time across the section in small amounts.

04

Skipping Geometry review

Treating the smallest domain as not worth studying, then losing quick, predictable points to a handful of unmemorized formulas.

Common questions

SAT Math coaching, answered honestly

What SAT Math topics does Digiwiz Academy cover?+

All four official SAT Math domains, Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, and Geometry and Trigonometry, starting with twenty key concepts across these domains.

Do I need a calculator for SAT Math coaching?+

The digital SAT allows a calculator on every Math question, and our teachers train students on when to use it and when mental math is actually faster.

How does Digiwiz Academy build SAT Math practice papers?+

Practice papers are built around your diagnostic results. A topic you score well on gets harder in the next test, and a topic you struggle with gets repeated at the same level until it improves.

Is SAT Math coaching offered one on one?+

Yes. One on one classes are available for students chasing a top score, alongside our standard coaching format.

How many SAT Math concepts does Digiwiz Academy teach?+

Coaching starts with twenty key concepts spread across the four domains, before moving into topic specific practice questions.
